One Pleasant Afternoon

Sore hari yang cerah, ketika mentari tengah beradu ke peraduan di ufuk barat, memancarakan keindahan cahayanya bermain-main dengan awan. Dua orang sahabat sedang menikmati senja itu di sebuah taman yang indah tentram, sambil bercengkrama tentang hidup.

Sahabat1:

".....I’ve been through hell and back...so, I’ll live"

Sahabat2:

Dasar Dajal!

Sahabat1:

"Hahaha…!!!"

"lho, apa sebab?? Salah kalau aku membiarkannya berlalu?"

Sahabat2:

Engga, hanya saja....Aaaaaahhh, sudah lah..!!

Sahabat1:

"Look, I’ve been deceived, cheated, stabbed, betrayed soooo many times by people, best friends, lover, even my next of keen. Yes, it was hurt all the way through. Yes, it burnt me. Yes, it made me crumble into pieces. But what you want me to do? Revenge to each and every one of’em? Then what??"

"No… I choose not to do that. I choose to remain happy. I choose to run my life as usual. There are so many things in my life need to be taking care of."

Sahabat2:

"You just running away from it…."

Sahabat1:

"Yea, in a way you can say dat…But, I choose to do that"

"I just don’t want to waste my time wondering with questions ‘what if..?’, ‘should’ve’, ‘could’ve’, ‘if only’, there are far more important matters for me. I have my parents, my BIG HUMANGOUS family, my works, you and the rest of the posey"

*sekali lagi tersenyum lebar*

"Itu semua sudah lebih pasti rimbanya. Ketauan lebih berpahala. So yea…I choose to run away from those uncertain things so called love."

Terserah kaulah, nak…The bottom line is, as long as you’re happy…then I’m happy for you.

Dan mereka pun kembali menikmati detik-detik ujung senja menghilang di balik ufuk hingga adzan maghrib menjelang.
